Judge Gillian Obringer (Chiaffie)
I would like to thank the Committee for inviting me to do Best In Show. It’s difficult doing BIS as you don’t pick the dogs coming though and everybody has a different opinion on a good chihuahua. But luckily the two judges for longs and smooths sent through 2 beautiful examples of the breed.
Best In Show
I chose the smooth coat. It was a hard decision but just liked the overall package of smooth coat.
Moltobello Bootylicious. Mrs S Hunt. Fawn 11 mths old bitch. What a beautiful little bitch. Very in tune with her handler. Moved round the ring with vigour as if to say look at me. Beautiful apple dome head with a saucy expression. Large eyes and correct ear placement. Superb mouth. Nice reach of neck on a square body with level topline. Moved very well both forward and back. Also Best Puppy In Show

Dorenty’s Heidi Hi . Miss D Entwistle. 2 year old cream and white bitch long coat. Another beautiful exhibit sent through to me. Lovely apple dome head with large eyes and just right amount of feathering. Good reach of neck on a lovely square body with nice level topline. Correct ear placement which she used well.correct tail set. A gay spirited little girl that moved and stood very well for her handler.

Ch Shumagda Isadora Duncan of Amberetta ShCM. Ms M Elliott. What a beautiful tri coloured long coat for 8 years old. Moved round the ring like a youngster. Beautiful markings. Nice apple dome head with big eyes and definite stop. Saucy expression. Good square body with level topline. Correct plume on her tail. Her stance was beautiful for her handler. Worthy veteran winner.
